Some drastic images about the ChristChurch earthquake. I feel it's my duty to post something here as a Kiwi...

Sad times :(

The glacier falling into the lake was pretty dramatic, and I think there's some video footage of a cliff collapsing from the road below.

I don't know what to say. I feel for the Kiwis, I really do. We watched some footage from it, but I just couldn't bare it. There has been so many natural disasters in this are area of the planet that has destroyed so much that I had to turn the news channel off.

I'm fairly new to this part of the planet, having migrated to Australia just two years or so ago from Sweden... and I have to say, I have never seen so much devastation caused by natural disasters in my entire life as I have in less than a month here.

I can assure you it's not normal >.<

The last such earthquake in NZ was a good 80 years ago, and Aus has been in a drought for the last 10 years (although the bushfire's in 2009 were pretty bad)

ChCh has been hit by 4-5 significant earthquakes in less than 6 months how ever >.<

Yeah it's a pretty bad one probably going to be our worst disaster ever. Hopefully the fault-line will settle down soon.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy.

Loving the sympathy, it is indeed a sad time. Unfortunately it's sure to get much worse as most of the couple of hundred missing are feared dead.

Good to see a swift reaction/response by the government.

And le-sigh

Ugh. Abhorred and disgusting, in bad taste and underhanded, although sadly not surprising. The trick is to not play dodgeball and redirect the anger and blame at them - except for that they are properly due for being homophobic insensitive pricks.

I'll say it; when your website is bracketed on all sides by advertisements for sex clubs, you're not doing a good job of making yourself or your group look respectable.

Anyway, yes, silly Christians.

Well I imagine one of two things.
1) google (or whoever) smartly see's what sort of people would be visiting your site and taylors adds for them
or
2) they don't get many offers based on the discriminatory nature of the world and take the best they can

OR that's just how they roll
