Napoleon Total War.

I love the Total War series, and I am looking forward to Total War: Shogun 2 next year.
Currently I am working on a series, where I as the Prussians will try and stop France.

I have been addicted to Rome: Total War for the last few years (or mods of it, at least). Medieval 2 is set in an era that doesn't appeal as much to me and until the Europa Barbarorum 2 mod comes out I probably won't play it as much as Rome.
Empire doesn't run as well on my PC, and I didn't really enjoy it that much. I haven't bought Napoleon, although Shogun 2 looks pretty good so I'll probably get it when I get a better PC.

I'll probably get it eventually now that I have a new computer.
I'm more interested in Shogun 2: Total war.

It is my opinion that Napoleon Total War is way too complex, and has lost the simplicity yet complexity of Rome Total War. Rome is an outstanding strategy game. The UI is simple, yet there are very complex issues to deal with sometimes. It is my hope that at some point the company will create something like Rome, only in a more advanced era, with enhanced graphics, better AI, and such.

I did few missions of Shogun but damn, you need a really powerful computer for it. I have a decent comp and it took forever to load before I set graphics close to minimum, and it crushed several times. from few things that I have seen there is a heavy focus on archers, something I did not like. I did not like it overall, maybe because I was lagging too much.

the soundtracks are phenomenal though.
