My first in-person experience with cretards.

So, as many of you are aware, a new year has started for universities around the globe. This year - due to my heavy interested in Astronomy - I decided to take one of the two introductory courses offered at my university. Most of the 75 people in the room seemed like rational individuals. That is, until my professor asked a very simple question regarding the possibility of life in the universe: How many of you think that there is absolutely no life in the universe besides Earth? Most of the hands stayed down but a few (two or three) went up.

Then the professor asked, "Are you sure?" and one creatard, with a smug tone, replied "Absolutely". I wanted desperately to give them the benefit of the doubt, particularly the cretard that responded. So I reserved my conclusions until the next class. However, that bastardized logic is only associated with the biggest creationists and ID-iots.

Today, however, the professor began exposing the class to the scientific method (remember, its an introductory course into science). Of course, since it was an astronomy course, he used the Big Bang Theory to highlight the scientific process, and just as legitimate questions regarding the scientific method began, another creatard sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME, asked to the professor: "Makes you wonder what started and what was before the big bang?"

The professor then explained that that was not part of science and should be a subject for religious or philosophical study.

As soon as he had said that, the other cretard responded: "I personally don't believe in the Big Bang Theory. But its frustrating that science cannot answer those questions"

What she was trying to say is that: Science is frustrating because the evidence does not back up my pre-concived conclusions. She was trying to hide this by looking to science as a way to gain understanding. However, the horseshit that flew out of her mouth was too great to be hidden.

Then the professor went on, explaining absolute zero, the CMBR, and the speed of expansion of the universe relative to earth; but the cretards were not done yet. The one sitting right next to me said: "Thats according to theory"

My Cretard bullshit meter reached over 9000 after that point; I couldn't stand the urge anymore. Therefore, I did what any rational person would have done:

EDIT
Just to clarify, my professor kept things simple - not mentioning string theory - to not confuse the whole class; also to avoid getting into an argument that would be a waste of time and highly unprofessional.

Smack the first one, introduce the second to M-Theory (Or the Lambda-Colt model, but I personally lean towards M-Theory), and never allow the last one to reproduce

Wow, you have incredible resolve to just facepalm. I would have gone apeshit on those idiots. Why the hell were they even in that class?
