I think the atheist should be represented by a cooler animal... like great white shark! "Although they look cool, and act cool, and are cool, they'll make mince meat of your beliefs!"

Remember, if you ever slip up and have to get rid of a body, Mr. Gruff will take care of the witnesses.

I find it repulsing that they want to shove that into young children minds.
As if atheists are some kind of child abusers. They are the bloody child abusers, teaching creationism, and having these children to grow up and be illiterate regarding science.

As a parent, I want to slap those who have made this site, and tell them they should get a grip on reality.
One thing is for an adult to believe in stupid stuff, but another thing is to push children into it.

Goats have horns, sharks don't. (It'd be fucking awesome if they did though)

All they need is to replace "Mr Gruff the Sad Atheist" with a new character "Mr Gropey the Child molesting priest" and then the advice might make some sense.

Y'know I've always wondered why Theists see us as sad, I think they're projecting.

I'm one of the happiest people I know. Not creepy happy, not zoloft and viagra happy, just assured and confident and optimistic.

I've often wondered why I'm seen as sad, too.

You guys are aware that Objective Ministries is almost certainly a satirical site right?

I mean check out the "kid's" drawings page/s:

http://objectiveministries.org/kidz/art.html

If you spend a while looking around the products they sell you also come across quite a few ...unusual... products and phrases such as:

"Show your proud membership in the Culture of Life.

Sex should only be used for the procreation of life inside of marriage. Condoms and other forms of so-called "birth control" serve no other purpose than to encourage promiscuity and promote the Culture of Death. Every sperm has the potential to become a Christian and so each should be considered sacred. Remember: A condom stops an undulating flagellum."

Following this is a number of products with the motto "Motility = Life" on them. I mean seriously, come on. The address for this page is:

http://www.cafepress.com/objectivemin/570992

They even offer the "radical abstinence thong":

Oh and not to mention they have shirts prominently sporting the letters "FU" (supposedly standing for Fellowship University which I do not believe exists) too.

EDIT:
In fact, just the pictures are enough to prove that the site is satirical. There are a good number touting the evilness of coffee and showing very homoerotic Jesus portraits and their phrase "Love our Lord" conveniently shortens to "LOL" which is used rather too comedically in those pictures which are clearly not drawn by kids the age that they are said to have been done by and furthermore they are all done on a computer most likely with the paint application. *pants after incredibly long sentence*

Good point Sparky, I might have fallen for a Poe site
That's Poe as all get-out.

Kid's drawing there with a strip club with "LIVE GIRLS" on the doors, and .. yeah. Satire for sure.
