Mouse sensitivity reset windows 8.1

'm having trouble with my mouse using windows 8.1. The sensitivity seems to reset itself a lot. This seems to happen either when I start a new game, or switching from the mousepad to a regular mouse. I tried looking for a fix but there seems not to be one for 8.1. Anyone know how to fix this because it is getting anoying trying to fix it everytime.

Microsoft messed with dpi scaling in 8.1 There's no current fix for it except for using third party software to scale it.

I found the problem. It isn't a problem with windows 8.1 but with the setpoint software form logitec.

Unistalling the Logitec setpoint software is what did it.
