I would describe in words what i feel the meaning of life is in this post but I feel it would serve better if I would like the youtube video I made on the subject.

What do you guys think? Not about the video (well maybe the video :p ) but about the meaning of life in general? From a strictly rational point of view... obviously.

The only thing that anything can have meaning for is us. We give life its meaning, for without us, it is meaningless as there's nothing for it to mean anything to. What does life mean to us? That's for us to decide. Personally, I think we're all here to have a good time. ;) Unfortunately that isn't happening for all of us... :( Such is why we need to make the world a better place.

I'm pretty sure it is subjective. Still, I think among the collective of human civilization, we have come to more or less of a consensus that it is to live happily without restricting happiness of others.

A man spent the better half of his life searching for the answer to this very question, "What is the meaning of life?" and upon discovering that a guru high atop the highest mountain in the deepest recesses of the thickest rain forest on the planet had the answer, he began his trek to the guru.

He climbed for days until he reached the summit of the mountain all bruised and beaten. He met the Guru and gasping said: "I've come in search for the meaning of life"

The Guru looked at him solemnly "Ah, the meaning of life."

A pause and the guru looks over the man. He says "The meaning of life is a teacup"

The man pauses in disbelief. "I travelled all the way here up this mountain for days to find out the meaning of life is a teacup?"

The Guru smiles and says "Or maybe not"

everything is subjective, all the values. dunno about you but that's pretty depressive for me sometimes.

as for meaning personally to me, and to most people, Epicurus has it- It's content.
