Every time the International Community pulls off something like this it sends awe inspiring bumps down my arms. It gives a certain hope for the abstract concept some of us call humanity.

I got the chills and goose bumps too, I can't wait till it lands and reveals to us new knowledge. I also had fun with it because me and my father were watching it launch, I was explaining to him all of the things this mission had to go through and what parts it has and what some of the desired objectives are. I also described to him a bit about the conditions in Gale Crater and about the landing zone that the MSL is preferred to land in.
