Lumosity brain training

Yesterday I stumbled across this website,
http://www.lumosity.com/

I made an account (it just takes a few seconds), and gave some of the games a try. I've been having fun with these and it's apparently a good way to exercise your mind.

I wouldn't pay money for it though, I'm confident you can get the same benefits doing things that are free (like sudoku, crosswords and other games), but even without paying, the free version still has lots of games you can play.

What do you guys think?

Looks like fun. Going to give it a try myself.

Edit after doing such:

So, for the first day's assessment it seems that my thought speed is abysmal. This is compensated immensly with my problem solving capability being through the roof, being double of what my second highest trait seems to be, being memory. Flexibility and Attention seem to need some work, though. I'd say that's pretty accurate.

Yes, I'm one of those "Uh...Oh wait, it's like this!" people. Feels like I'm building a character for an RPG.

For my first assessment, my flexibility is complete crap, that's what I'm going to be working on for the next little while. It takes forever for my mind to switch to different types of thinking, with many mistakes.

However, my memory is apparently really good, it's much higher than all my other stats.

I think you can view other people's brain profiles, here's mine

I read somewhere that having over 1000 BPI in one of the areas shows a particular skill in that area.

I should tell you that you can only use it like it seems to be now for a week, and then you can only play like 5 of the games and can no longer see how your scores compare and such. You start with a trial subscription basically.

Saw that. Yet it'll probably still be fun for a bit. :p

Yeah, I think I'm just going to use a certain method of acquisition on the internet that I don't think I am allowed to mention here to get a full program that contains this sort of thing. I am having not only fun but it's good mental exercise too, I would like to keep doing these sorts of games. Either that or find another site that lets you keep doing them for free. Either way, I intend to continue playing these sorts of games, I like them.
