LoR Game night (what would Jesus play?)

Considering the steam group... isn't it easier to set up a event on the steam group apart from mentioning date+time on the forums?

Makes things easier as it is time zone independent, and it should give a notification when you're on steam.

Good thinking, I'll set it up for next week.

You know, if, as members, we're organize gamenights, I've got a suggestion. It might not strike anyone's fancy, but hey, it's worth a shot.
The game is called Megamek, and it's a Java adaptation of the BattleTech boardgame.

The game itself isn't exactly full of awesome visuals and sounds, but it's a fun little game and it allows us to actually talk to each other, making it a more social game than say, Counterstrike.

You don't actually need to do the rolls etc. You just give the game your commands and it does the dicerolls itself. After each round, a report will describe what has happened.

Should really add some mods in like zombie panic source, or hidden source, or natural selection.

And maybe do things like every friday and saturday we game, but it's a different game every friday and saturday, especially if we can keep finding mods that only assume you have either half life or half life 2, that are worth playing (e.g. dystopia).

Adrenaline gamer is another fun one, though it's one that is really intense and sort of requires practice, so newbies would hate it, and upon second reflection is a terrible game to play randomly with people.

NS is so fucking awesome... well was, before valve got rid of WON. I hate valve for that.
