I offer to your attention a film "Law of Time".
The correlation of the biological time and the social time frequencies and their interrelation in the global historical process was named "Law of Time".

[centre]That's not a law of time, this is a law of time.

On a more serious note, I predicted, the moment I heard the word usury (about two minutes in), I was only moments away from Masonic/Illuminati imagery.

Well, yeah... that makes perfect sense, as long as you're an idiot.

Well, as long as you're willing to lie and/or make things up from whole cloth and falsely call it a "law", I guess you can prove anything.

*yawn*
it is sad that some people tend to buy such things being impressed by technical terms and nonsense expressed graphically..

I don't know, I thought the video maker had a lot of good points. The rate of technological development had increased significantly in the last century. This has gradually caused a fundamental shift in attitude from institutional knowledge/secrets to self-development. He's probably overly optimistic with the "knowledge and communication will save the masses" idea - but that's hardly unique to him. He used Illuminati imagery, but only to visually represent his point that the educated and privileged few have historically had power over the uneducated and powerless masses, which is hardly controversial. Probably his worst point is the whole "the world wars were the apocalypse caused by rate of technological increase", but even that is within the realm of discussion; particularly in the context of the idea of the Singularity.

No, sorry, it is nonsense from start to end. It can't really be saved.

I would have to disagree. I'll grant that it is, shall we say, nonsense adjacent and it would be pretty easy to get from these musings to nonsense. However, apart from the "apocolypse resonance" bit there's not much here that could be said to be nonsensical, or even incorrect. It's probably not the way I would choose to explain things, but it doesn't represent a view of the world that is wrong per se.

Disagree all you like. The matter of fact is to lump generic progress as if it was a cyclic phenomena with a monotunous increasing harmonic frequency is pure nonsense, you can't even get a measure of what is progress (neither is it a continuous phenomena) much less say things like "it has a cycle", what exactly is it that is oscilating do you even know? And you can forget about human dimention, culture, history or the entire spectrum of human activity.

It was all nonesense smoke to make the easy impressionable think that there is anything of value there, the matter of fact is there isn't. There is nothing there scientifically correct from begining to end. It is solid crap.

What do you mean besides that? That was what the video was based uppon.
Can you name one accurate thing the video had, besides the earth taking about a year to go arround the sun?
