The video itself is irrelevant, the person who uploaded the video is challenging skeptics to explain his own personal experience with mediums as well as prove how John Edwards can do the 'incredible' readings he gives.

Im always polite in debates and try to calm people down when they get irate, but despite my patience and effort he decided to call me uneducated and go take a break. Check out the debate in the comments (not too long luckily), i mean he claims to be skeptical but yet his bar for evidence as i described it, qualifies personal evidence as substantiative fact.

I tried pretty much everything including asking his own medium to undergo a test at a local university or science institute. However i think hes dodging the issue and reverting back to john edward. Why do people do that????

I don't even need to read the debate, I've seen the same arguments used for everything from mediums to astrologers to religion. Personal experience is NOT scientific proof, nor is it scientific evidence. I don't give a rat's ass if some medium is dead on 100% of the time with one individual. If he cannot repeat the process and attain similar accuracies, under controlled situations, then it's bullshit, pure and simple.

Because whatever is left of their rational mind KNOWS it's bullshit. People want to believe that they can communicate with a dead loved one through a medium because it makes them feel better to believe that the person still exists somewhere. Disregarding, for the moment, that there is no evidence whatsoever that we continue to exist after the biochemistry in our brains stop, why is it that these spirits who have "important messages" for people always say "I love you", "I'm happy", "it's beautiful here" and never "The money is under the loose tile in the kitchen" or "It was Professor Plum with the knife in the study"? It's because the entire scam is to make people feel better, and it is a multi-billion dollar industrial strength scam. Any scientific investigation which would immediately show that any given medium is full of shit would destroy their business. That's why none of the mediums or astrologers or tarot card readers will participate in a controlled study.

I can think of a couple of ways he could have done all that very easily. bu then again, what is the point, stuff like this has been debunk over and over again.
People get easily swaded, "hey but this guy has a diffrent spin that the other debunked didn't had", but it is still a old trick.

Reminds me of the Family Guy episode. I'm getting an A, does your name start with an a? No. B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P... P, my name starts with a P it's Peter. Is your name Peter. Wow, you are like some sort of sorcerer.

I think the Penn and Teller show Bullshit sums up mediums pretty nicely.
