Joel Osteen

Joel Osteen's mannerisms are so weird, I am pretty sure he is one of those reptilians gorilla 199 is always talking about. Seriously, watch video of Osteen with the sound turned off. If anyone knows Paul Ekman's Facial Action Coding system see if you get the same expressions from him as a normal person.

Dude, he's creepy looking. He looks like he's exerting an enormous amount of effort trying to look charismatic and kind.

He's learned to fake the "smiling eyes" wrinkles that form when a person genuinely smiles or laughs. This is typically a sign of an experienced con artist.

Either that or he's tripped out on some substance all the time.

I think he was bred from Jerry Falwell's dumber clone and a Ken doll.

and the scariest part?

Thousands of people listen in awe to whatever the crap he's talking about.

The guy is very obviously a sociopathic lunatic... which means he has a HUGE fan base among the nutters in American society.

Heh, I love watching this guy. He's so utterly ridiculous, fans included. As said above, I do think he's a sociopathic con artist taking advantage of the stupid in religious Americans. All while appearing completely genuine. It's funny.

Indeed. Also I don't know if you noticed but he begins every show holding his bible in the air and asking the audience to repeat with him something like "this is my bible, I am what it says I am, I have what it says I have...[etc. etc.]"

that right there is pure comedy gold. :D

It really is. It gives some stand-ups a fun for their money.

Him, TBN, and a youth church program in my area; all things we watch in the middle of the night for pure comedic entertainment.

All these people strike me as a big con. Hell, that's basically what selling the desert god is, a con. Selling an invisible product. Eternal salvation, miracles, Jesus discs... All a con for these clergymen to get their ridiculous paycheck.
