The cross is not so much a symbol of Christianity as it is a symbol of death.
I agree, it is a death cult.

You completely missed the meaning of that sentence. Your statement here shows how naà¯ve you are.kenandkids said:The cross is not so much a symbol of Christianity as it is a symbol of death.

Wikipedia said:During the first two centuries of Christianity, the cross may have been rare in Christian iconography, as it depicts a purposely painful and gruesome method of public execution. The Ichthys, or fish symbol, was used by early Christians. The Chi-Rho monogram, which was adopted by Constantine I in the 4th century as his banner (see labarum), was another Early Christian symbol of wide use.

Bullshit. It was founded on the bones of the murdering, raping Hebrew death cult. It changed to a different form of death cult once the Romans kicked the Jews out of the rape and murder business.Vanlavak said:Christianity was founded on principals and morals of compassion and love, and since then been tramped on by so called followers of the religion and misinterpreted.
Don't forget the Inquisition!!!kenandkids said:What a great "gotcha!"

No matter how much you wish otherwise, christianity is a death cult. It worships a presumed martyr, promises suffering and death to the devout, has ritualised cannibalism as a prime tenet, and a torture device as the prime symbol. As further indictment, a Gibson torture porn movie is it's most celebrated theatrical offering.

Please read this and stop hatin'.
It never gets old, does it? :lol:I am humbled by your masterful destruction of my points and questions... well played kid... well played...
You are failing to see religious people as individuals, this means that you believe that if one Christian dissed you, all of them are responsible. This is called the out-group homogeneity effect. People of this type of thinking have caused much pain and suffering in the past and the present, just consider how the American Government failed to see the Native American as individuals as the result of the same effect and as a result, intentionally caused the trail of tears through the "Indian Removal Act". Are you here to bring suffering or to help humanity by this unnecessary stereotyping and discrimination of the sum of billions of religious people?aeritano said:Vanlavak said:You completely missed the meaning of that sentence. If Christianity is based on "love" and "compassion" they why do you launch smear campaigns and hell bent of destroying the rights of people.. like.. i dont know.. GAYS?.. Last i checked.. gays get bash quite alot of all those lovely self proclaimed baptist christian sates
Remember your religion approves of killing homosexuals, and used to justify slavery... some love there.... you can not deny that
and dont coop that "times have changed".. because last i check... Christianity came to light around 5,000BC (or the beginning of time if you're a twit).. and that's far from the year 2011. so you cant apply modern ideals as a basis for an ancient religion
The fact remains.. for a "loving" religion...its based on alot of hate.... heck.. Christianity in certain lights makes Islam look peaceful.. imho
Actually, you're dishonestly conflating religious people with the religion itself. It is a convenient dodge to avoid the fact that you worship a stupid and evil mythology. Your religion is responsible for the 'Trail of Tears' and centuries of other abuses. We're saying 'religion' and you lie and claim we're saying 'religious people.' Doesn't your cult have a rule about bearing false witness, or it that more of a suggestion for you to avoid when convenient?Vanlavak said:You are failing to see religious people as individuals, this means that you believe that if one Christian dissed you, all of them are responsible. The fact that secularists have dragged the members of your death cult kicking and screaming into the 21st century is no defense of your cult's fundamental beliefs.

You're a liar AND seriously ignorant about history. The Trail of Tears was caused by Manifest Destiny, which was based in Christianity.Vanlavak said:You think I'm christian? You gave me a laugh, haha, now stop hating.
Now to point, Christianity did not cause the Trail of Tears. I have no idea how you drew that conclusion and I have to say that that is the single stupidest statement I've heard all day. Most people don't consider Christianity to be "A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader." Believe it or not, atheist are not the most dominate or biggest religion (as in the sociological sense) in the world, in fact, atheism has very weak political power, and always has except in communist Russia. The Communist Russian government tried to unite the people for more power as a nation by Committing genocide and so on to eliminate religion. Oh, and I didn't mention how the Communist Russia government fell to pieces.
What does that have to do with ANYTHING?Vanlavak said:Found some info: eleven rules of satanism
1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
3. When in another's lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.
7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
9. Do not harm little children.
10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

So if you're not a Christian, what are you? Liars like you tend to like to play silly fucking games like that, so lay your cards out on the table or just admit you're a troll.
