Jesus is coming on my birthday!!!

May I ask, why did they have to pick May 21st 2011 as the day of rapture? Why not April 30th 2011, considering it's the 66th anniversary of Adolf Hiter's death?

They should have chosen April 1st. That would be pretty good because when he does not come, those who predicted it could always say "April Fools". Choosing April 1st would have a great safety net.

That's not right... I will have to ask the prince of darkness about that at our next support meeting...

Is there any point in Christian history where someone hasn't been expecting the second coming of Christ? I'm pretty sure St Paul was expecting it during his own lifetime...

The Bible said:
Matthew 24:29-34 (New International Version, ,©2010)

29 "Immediately after the distress of those days

"'the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'[a]

30 "Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[c] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[d] is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Well, he probably thought that cause, well, Jesus straight out said it. =) It should have happened over a thousand years ago.

So does this make you Jesus? :D

*laughs*
I think he is more like jesus' little brother twice removed...

I don't think you can claim to be related to Jesus if his genes were inserted into Mary by the Lord above...

That doesn't seem to stop them trying to make out that he was descended from King David in the Bible though...

So I guess them Mayans were just fairly accurate then...

Except, of course, that the Mayans didn't predict the end of the world, but the end of the long count, which is followed by...

The beginning of the next count!

I wrote an article about this a while back. You may find it interesting:

This should clear some things up....in the creepiest way possible.
