So If you aren't out sinning then he died in vain. Have a good weekend everyone!

No. This is no excuse to sin. Some sins are punishable by law. Jesus' death will not absolve those. ^^,

How about an added clause? (Please keep your sins limited to (responsible) drunken debauchery , (Protected) fornication, (White) lies, and the promotion of Godlessness in a religious world)

Oh, Christianity is all such bullshit that I need a drink just to start thinking about it too hard. Might as well rub it in the faces of the dolts who believe that nonsense.

They already did that. You have to repent and accept Jesus Christ as your L&S. But I kinda like your rules too.

If Darwin's Evolution theory is correct, then there was no definite first humans, as humans evolved from other animals, meaning there was no first sin. So in short we are not tied to god, and are not punished if we don't accept him (if he even exists at all).

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I am new here.

Not just that, but as far as I understand there's no part of the Bible that says any of it applies to non-Jews. It's just sort of assumed, but there's no verse that confirms it. Hence, being that I am in no way, shape or form a Jew of either racial or religious type, no rules in the Bible apply to me, even if God is real.

Allow me to quote the great mind of NonStampCollector: "CONTEXT!" :D

I don't think any of us here believes you can sin against a nonexistent god, however, if someone breaks their own personal moral code would that be considered sinning against yourself?

So....hell is a conjured up place that you send yourself after you die if you don't listen to your make believe rules. Sort of like the be all end all hallucination (minus the fact that you're dead)?

What does hell have to do with it?

If you hold Sin simply to mean breaking a moral guideline, then skooter is right. Same with considering evil to be that which is diametrically opposed to your moral precepts. There's no reason to assume Hell enters into any of it.

LMAO, You have no idea how many times I cringed when I would hear my preacher (When I believed) talking about us being the "Bride of Christ".

Also, for another gag reflex workout you should all read the Hymn," We'll Work Till Jesus Comes". Hell, I'll just copy and paste it here for you all.

Verse 2.

To Jesus Christ I fled for rest...
He bade me cease to roam......
And lean for succor on His breast........
Till He conduct me home....

Kinda reads like the opening act of a porno.

You know, on good days I manage 6 out of 7 deadly sins.
But I think that sloth and lust are mutually exclusive if done right
