So far there regarding the conversation (if you can call it that), the postings of abelcainsbrother have gone deeper and deeper into insanity. Of that I'm sure we can mostly all agree.

So far there has been certain positions held by Abel and I would like to see if we could classify what type of creationist or troll this could be

1) Adam, Eve, and their children were Neanderthals
2) Adaption is not Evolution
3) Birds are not dinosaurs, Sabre-cats not linked to modern big cats (rejecting nested hierarchies and phylogeny )
4) Faith is needed to believe in evolution
5) There are conspiracies to hide what he calls evidence against evolution and that's why he's hesitant to show it
6) Goddidit is the default position
7) Demonstration is the only way to know something is true, however accepting it on faith is allowable unless it's faith in evolution
8) Something cannot come from nothing, especially fully formed functioning life
9) To have a creation, you need a creator
10) Identifies as an Old earth Gap theory creationist
11) The flood happened all covered everything, that's why there are fossils etc

I think that covers most of it. As far as I can tell, each one of these claims or positions has been countered, refuted and backed up with many different 'evidences'. (With exception to #8. That one didn't get explored too much).

I hear Hovind, Ham, Gish, Comfort/Cameron, and some I'm not exactly familiar of their originator.

What I'd like to know, just to get some insight on this one is to figure out who abelcainsbrother is. I mean his or her age range, level of education, general area of upbringing, etc. Of course there is no obligation to Abel to divulge any of this information and I respect his/her's privacy. I was wondering if you would though care to share anything else (if you prefer private then...). I'm just trying to find out if you are for real. I'm sure others are wondering the same.

Isn't critical thinking negatively affected by religion? I think there was a study that showed a correlation.

We don't have threads attacking other members here, no matter how much one may disagree with their stance. Here is where ACB is discussing his philosophical views. Sort of.
