A man approached an undercover agent on the US border to hire Mexican gangs for an assassination plot, claiming he was being bankrolled by an Iranian general. The US has already released caustic statements claiming they will hold Iran accountable. Could this be the start of the penny dropping on a military strike on Iran?

For America to get hyped up about something, it requires the writing and directing style of Michael Bay over the point-and-shoot style of the Bourne Series.
Remember: Americans are inherently dumb. It requires bright flashy explosions to grasp our attention to a problem.

All jokes aside, I'm waiting on Saudi Arabia to go Apeshit. The only thing the United States really can do at this point other than bombing the shit out of them is kicking them out of the U.N. - I mean, come on. They're banned from free-trade market with most of the major players in the world on most counts, there's heavy sanctions pressed on them already, and the best thing they've done military-wise is to press a "strong Military presence" (2 ships! DEAR GODS HOW WILL WE EVER DEFEAT A FLEET OF THAT MAGNITUDE?!) in Free Waters.

Not to mention that everything they do is so transparent due to the fact that America broadcasts all intel about Iran's shortcomings on a regular basis simply for what can be described as shits and giggles.
Iran is the kid who got caught masterbating in the teacher's lounge at school, and no one will ever take them seriously until they start threatening to come to school and blow everyone away. :roll:

AFAIK the Arab Spring barely touched Iran. But if the Saudis did go berserk over this and made a retaliatory strike on Iran or something then it could perhaps snowball from there if Tehran's populace rose up in the wake of any confusion caused. Really, though, I fully expect this incident to die down to nothingness over the next few days or weeks.
