I finally did it, after 24 years as a member, I left the church of Denmark.
Saving money, since they take 1 - 2 % of my income as a member.
And I am no longer supporting an organization that I do not believe in.
The money saved I will spend on myself, and also join the Atheist Society of Denmark (which is a lot cheaper)

You not only left the church, but also joined another organization. If this makes you happy, then I affirm your decision. But, I'm curious. What's the benefit of joining an organization?

Good for you, man. The churches of the world tend to take in a lot of people's income and not provide too much in return... I hated that... lol I'm happy for you. :D

I see. If not, put your extra income in the bank instead. HEHE

Or, or, he can use that extra money and buy each one of us a slice of cake. It'd be nice to have real cake at some point.

Oh, and kudos for your decision. You are now free. Open your wings and fly! Fly, I tell you!

THE CAKE IS A LIE!

But no, kudos on the decision, man. :D

Great! You should have done it earlier though.

At a salary of US$5000 per month, at 1.5% church tax, over 24 years, you'll pay the church US$21,600.

There's no need to join an organization. But joining one which you can identify yourself with lets you meet other people who think alike. Basically, birds of same feather flock together. This is likely his reason for joining one. Also, maybe he enjoys company with fellow thinkers rather than sitting alone in his home in front of a computer monitor.

Spend the money on feeding children in Africa, or a Soup Kitchen - Plenty of more good than it was rotting in the coffers of any church, or the benefits of any societal organization.

I approve of this absurd waste of money.

You should put it in the description of the video, and also place a link to download the PDF file which they can print and fill in.

Also add in some annotations on top of the video reminding viewers they can find the info in the description.

PS: You remind me of Wolverine! (from X-men)

oh, that's what this is about, I thought you changed your name from Christian :)

Wait, his name's "Christian"? I'm sorry, that's just funny to me, but if it's any consolation, people call me "JC."

Yes, Christian is a very common scandinavian name, and my atheist parent named me it.. Ironic.. XD
