Ok, let use epidemiological thinking:
1-Men do not use to take care of children, probably because they might be working to support the family.
2-Men die and women become widows.
3-Men abandon the family (can also happen, but it does not always)
3-Are women allowed to beat theirs husbands? Are parents (father or mother) allowed to beat the kids? (they did not state that).
4-I get sick of hear how women are treat like scum: Indeed according to Islam women worth a half!*
Am I sexist?

*I meant a half of a man or a half of a person (I did not have enough character to complete my statement.

An Islamic fundie replied:

@hedleypanama Well, to address number 4, women are not to be treated like scum in islam, in fact they are to be taken care of. That are many laws in islam that put the women way above the man., It is only in courts do women count as half, and that was to stop women from falsely accusing a man of a crime. Yes there are some areas that treat women poorly, but even in america there are areas (trailer parks) where women may not be treated as well as upper class society. Does that make all of it bad?

@bluefootedpig well you are a wacky fundie: men or women can do whatever they want as far as I do not "offend" your religion (points 1-3)!
Women are treated as useless worms in Middle East (stoned, flogged and hanged) and you say "In America, too"? In which delusionary world do you live?
Indeed, false accusations are indeed a serious issue for rape: however what about murder and thefts? why women worth less than men? that non sense!

Ugh. tedwomen. as if they're actually trying to highlight some kind of difference...

I mean I get that they're trying to talk about issues more relevant to women, or spearheaded by the ladies. But something about targetting the audience, thinking that men wouldn't be interested in the topics, makes me want to slash my jugular.

bahbahbah ted woman is horrible. There were only a few talks anywhere remotely interesting, the rest is filled with talks by woman who in my opinion didn't deserve it. There are so many interesting woman and still you get this shit.
