Like they did with the photos of that nebula? A few might, but most are so anti-science that they will hate it when we figure out how something can come from nothing without needing a plan. There's the key to their whole belief, it will show that no plan is needed.

I disagree. Even on this forums one of our new members who is a young earth creationists didn't have problems supporting their position using different levels of oxygen millions of years ago. They don't really care for coherent image, all they look for is snippets they can use as arguments to convince ignorant and gullible. I'm sure you've come across arguments like "Einstein believed in god therefore creationism is correct." Or what Bob Enyart tried to do spending part of his first post going on about how Newton was a creationist and wanted Aron to admit it. I think Brett got it right when he said this is Bob's tactic of collecting this kind of "admissions" to later boast on his show how he managed to convince AronRa or Michael Shermer to his position. Have you seen that topic about sun being light according to bible? :? bloody hell, those people will tell the stupidest thing and be amazed by their own magnificence.

I can't disagree with your points, they are all valid. However I don't want to derail this thread to explain my position as it would require me pretty much stated something I've said in other threads more relevant. But a simplified version is this, religious leaders, preachers, and evangelists know they are lying, if they told the truth they'd lost money. You cannot change their minds on anything because they already know they're wrong.
