I am writing a "special" book about such things and I want to make sure that I cover everything. So please keep adding to this list.

Jesus
Dionysus
Osiris
Orpheus

I haven't found much reliable stuff on this online so please link me to some if you can.

Does Flora the lizard count? I bet it would be pretty irksome to include some of that troublesome science in your virgin birth section.

I hadn't heard this before, so maybe it needs to be verified beyond a wikipedia reference, but here's Buddha being conceived by his mother and a god:

Oh, heh, and Romulus and Remus. Can't help but wonder how a story of Rome's founders bears such similarities to a story about Christianity's founding... hmm........

My favorite was always Mithra. In addition to the virgin birth, he shared many characteristics with Jesus, and also happened to be the major competitor of christianity, that is until christianity was made the official religion of the roman empire and Mithraism was outlawed.

Perseus was also technically born of a virgin. Zeus came to her as a "golden rain" and that's what did it.

He was doing it wrong. That's not how you're supposed to get a girl knocked up.

Gilgamesh but his father was mortal, his mother was a goddess... Usually it's the other way around so Gilgamesh wins!

Doesn't the celebration of birthdays come from Mithraism?

Anakin Skywalker, all the way (what, some people follow star wars like a religion!)

Oh, and Masterjedijared, how could you not give this reply?

Zoroaster was virgin-born.
Actually, that may have been tacked on to his legend later... sadly our best sources on Zoroastrianism are from around the 9th Century.
