How many military brats come here?

I was a double Navy brat, my father a CB and my mother a Corpsman. Just wondering who else had to go to a bunch of different schools and got to grow up in different cities/states/countries.

I'm also a navy brat. My father was an AD stationed at NASJAX.

I have plans on joining the navy myself eventually.

Father in the military, uncle on my father's side in the Navy. Always had an interesting Army-Navy game day here.

Born in Massachusetts, raised in Colorado, now living in Indiana.

One Grandfather was a communications officer during WWII and the other was a seed farmer serving the country on home soil.

@Lala: Ah, I see. My father did the compulsory 2 years of basic training, that's the closest to army action my family ever got. My grandparents being WW2 refugees probably helped. Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure my great-grandfathers fought in WW1. But yea, we're pretty much a pacifist family.

On the topic of the whole family; My great grandfather was in the Navy, my grandfather was an Army MP in WWII, my uncle was Navy as was my cousin, my uncle in law just retired from the Marines about a year ago from commanding the logistics in Iraq, and another uncle I never met was in the Air Force. I have a family buffet of military service from E-2s to O-9s :D !

Dad was special forces and I halo jumper from what I gather from his stories. My grandpa was some sort of lieutenant in the navy. My mom's side is all jehovah's witness's, so no military there. XD

*raises hand* Dad was in the Army - I was born on base in Germany, moved repeatedly between that base and various bases in England and Ireland all my life*. His dad was also in the army, and both my mother's parent's were in the forces. One of my cousin's has gone into the army, as well.


*'til i was about twelve, anyway
