Holographic phone concept.

So, when I'm sitting around my house on a Saturday afternoon in my boxers because I don't have anywhere to be, and I'm too lazy to wash my clothes because they're all dirty or even shower because it's not like anyone will care if no one is there, then if someone calls me, they'll see me all dirty and almost naked and be disgusted yet somehow turned on by my brazen disregard for basic hygiene because it makes me look like a 'bad boy', and, since they can't smell me, they don't mind that I'm dirty, even though that's exactly what's turning them on, but that eventually turns into some sort of fetish, and then she'll only have sex with me if I haven't showered in a while, which will become very awkward very quickly?
You didn't fully think that one through, did you?

In all seriousness, I would love to have a holographic phone. I don't like talking on the phone. I don't entirely know why; I just don't like it. However, if I could see the person I'm talking to, then I'm sure it would be fine, as long as there is a way to turn the hologram off for those Saturday afternoons.

It's a cool idea and well executed, I do think some of your beveling needs some work as they look a bit rushed and not as polished as the rest of it.

The emphasis isn't really on the design of the thing, it's more centred on how I market it so it doesn't need to look 100%. But it's been a good learning experience, I'd never designed anything like that before so I got something to build on now.

from a Consumer site:-I hope it doesn't have to be Nailed onto the wall(or otherwise Permanently fixed) and that it has a additional supporting stand(if no Wall is available).
-How long does it hold a Charge and do you have to take it of the Wall to recharge it? (I don,´t see a Socked, so it is on the Wallside, right?)

could you define for me what you mean with "holographic phone"?
i understand what a hologram is, but how this would be applied to a phone i do not understand, especially from that picture you posted.

i assume that with that holographic phone we should be able to communicate, so how would you dial a number?
where is the microphone for listening? where is the speaker for speach? all the practical parts of a phone?

Basically I was going for the whole Star Wars communicator vibe, it projects an image of the person on the other end. As for dialing, it's supposed to be all voice controlled and the speaker is by the camera and mic is on the bottom right by the off button.

As I said it was litterally a last minute thing based more on the concept than images, and I passed so w00t. It's mostly something I can build on now.

But need some dials and sliders on the side, you know for adjusting the image. ;D
Plus there needs to be an option to not display yourself, just in case you happen to be in boxers at the time. :lol:
