I love how Reverend Ra lays down the law at 18:38, especially when he sets the annoying board member straight.

The other thing I noticed was all the debunked talking points the creationists used when they gave their "testimony".

I'm frequently amazed that they keep trotting out the same tired and easily debunked claims. When all you have on your side is an argument that a ten year old can counter, just stop. IMHO

Victory for evolution in Texas

Great news!

National Center for Science Education[/url]"]Pop the champagne corks. The Texas Board of Education has unanimously come down on the side of evolution. In an 8-0 vote, the board today approved scientifically accurate high school biology textbook supplements from established mainstream publishers--and did not approve the creationist-backed supplements from International Databases, LLC.

Great work Reverend Ra, and everyone else that stood up for real science in Texas.
