Hi, I'm a thirty two year old Tree Surgeon from Kent, UK. I found this forum by a google search for 'Atheist forums', lurked for a few days and thought I'd sign up.

I've been an Atheist my whole life, even as a kid I saw God as a bit of a reach and that feelings only been cemented as I've grown up.

There's some incredibly interesting threads on this forum so I'll spend some more time lurking around for a bit and get involved at some point.

Cheers.

Welcome, Kovacs1979
I did pretty much the same thing, joining wise, although I found this site through a current member's online youtube blog thing.
Lurked for a bit myself then popped on as a member a few days ago.
I agree, lots of interesting threads, and well thought out posts.
Enjoy!

Welcome aboard, Kovacs!

I hope you'll enjoy your stay here. There's also our awesome little chatroom to try out, if that's your kind of thing.

There are rumours that there is a certain kind of special baked goods available in there, but I am fairly certain those rumours are deceptive. Nonetheless, it can be an interesting experience.

Food as well as chat? Sounds like my kind of thing!

Again, thanks for the welcome. Most Introduction sections of forums tend to be a bit of a ghost town in my experience so I do really appreciate it.
