The guy seems to have established a pattern. As soon as he gets back he'll start filing false DMCAs, and I can't see anyone giving him a break for a third time.

I've just sent a quick message to dprjones urging him to take action against VMFX over the false accusation.
Accusations like that can stick to people for life.

Wow, Venom's now given out DPRJones' full name and address to everyone he can, apparently, after publicly calling him a paedophile. I shouldn't be surprised in the slightest, but wow, he's sunk even further than I would have granted him. It feels like the last bite of a desperate, rabies-infected dog. Now VFX's latest move was mayor douchebaggery, it's more then certainly crossing a line. I'm reasonably sure the proving of private data is illegal, although i'm also quite sure that the accusation of paedophilia isn't. For that to be consider slander it would have to be proven that VFX actually knew the girl was old enough, which would be hard, if not impossible.

However, DPR isn't a angel either. Publicly demanding VFX has to do certain things is douchebag behaviour as well. No matter how rotten false DMCA's and false flagging is, such things should be communicated in private or he should have simply pressed charges. (Which would be interesting/impossible because he's in the UK, VFX is in canada and youtube is california law (if i'm not mistaken). The worst that could happen is that VFS shouldn't visit california any time soon, and I'm reasonably sure DPR would have to visit california to get that all done proper in a court of law. But seeing as DPR is a lawyer I'm reasonably sure he knows that as well.

I'm no "legal eagle" but after an argument with a nameless dickhead over copyright law, I discovered that there is an international agreement over copyright that probably covers this area, so an international suit could probably be brought.

I know for a fact that various musicians have sued each other across the Atlantic for breach of copyright.

I'll have a google and see if I can turn up that piece of legislation again.

Funnily enough VMFX probably does know it's false, because the girl whose info he's given probably isn't the girl who shook her boobs at the cam.

I checked her homepage, and there's a message from a friend of hers saying that they were together in his front room when the blogtv event took place, so he knows it wasn't her......and...erm how can I put this....if you see the girl who VMFX named, and you look at the footage of the boobshake, there's a certain size difference. That's as delicately as I can put it.

Apparently a message from Hilton ****** implying that Shawn is not mental well, at least I think so.

I wonder if he filled all the DMCAs, he's created a lot of sock accounts so he's probably responsible for a lot of DMCA filing/flagging but if all they require is a name, address and phone number then anyone could do it.

That very much depends.. 1: they have to file counter notifications.. 2: YouTube can be very slow to respond that way around.. even if they're very fast taking videos down.

I just stumbled on a site called 'YouTomb'. Apparently it's a project by some MIT students that tracks youtube videos which have been taken down for copyright violation. Pretty interesting.

Well at least its good to know that his family is OPENLY taking distance to Venom,´s actions.
Maybe it will make him stop and get help, if nothing else then the threat his father have given Sean, that if he gets his ass landed in court he will have to pay for the trial with his OWN money he won,´t get any financial support from his family what so ever.

Now i don,´t know how much Sean earns a month (or if he even have an income at all) but i,´ll bet you anything that if he goes to court, the money that the trail alone will cost plus the fine he will no doubt (if his lucky) will be sentenced to pay will be ALOT more than he earns in an entire YEAR.

And if he can,´t pay the bill, well i don,´t know the law but i would say there is a chance that he will get to meet his idol Kent Hovind in jail.

If all those prospects isn,´t enough for him to stop and get the help that he so OBVIOUSLY needs, then i don,´t know what will.
But lets hope if nothing else then for the sake of his family that it won,´t get that far, that this is indeed the last we will see of VenomFangX as we know him.

Otherwise well i don,´t see any other choice then for DPRJones to teach Sean about the facts of reality the hard way pulling him to court.

As far as I know, he doesn't work, his father pays for everything (which is why he has such leverage over Shawn). Actually, I think he did have a couple of jobs, but was fired because he kept evangelising and trying to hand out Kent Hovind DVDs to customers during work hours. I'm not sure on that, but I think I remember hearing it somewhere.

Unfortunately, if it were to go to court I think what Shawn makes in a year would almost immediately become a moot point, because a charity drive to pay for his court action would almost certainly spring up. If people are will to buy him videocameras that cost several hundred dollars and give him (individually) $500 donations so he can carry on his ministry, just imagine how much he could raise with a well planned campaign to raise money to help fend off attack from the "evil paedophile atheists who are trying to silence the word of God" or however he'd play it. Depending on how much publicity he gets, he might be able to easily defend himself (and maybe even be able to take the hit when he loses).

Either way, I'll be very interested to see how this plays out, if it does happen in the public eye (Pay-Per-View tv maybe?)
