Google Trends is a cool underused feature that allows you to search for two items, and it compares which are being searched for more on a graph. It also shows which are showing up more in news sources in another graph (on the bottom), via Google News.
Its clear that astrology is searched for quite a bit more than astronomy. These are general terms of course and with something more specific you would find different results, but I think the general message should get through on what the public is searching for more.
Of course, astronomy shows up more in news results, but not even by a large margin.
Thoughts?
