Hi, my name is Pygmalion_Man, but you can simply call me Pyg for short. I'm a strong atheist, and also a strong believer in individual freedom. I believe that abortion, gay marrige, all drugs, and prostitution should all be legal in the US.

We have every right to put whatever we want into our own bodies, and every right to do whatever we like with our own bodies in general. I've been very passionate about equal rights for gays, ever since a hardcore Christian told me that being gay was a "mental disorder that could be cured".

I'm still a bit of a debating-noob, though the few I have debated were all ultra-hardcore conservative, republican Christians, and I have had yet to convince even one that taking away the freedoms of others to make themselves feel better is wrong. Oh, well. What can you do?

I'm also an artist, and have a love for creating things. I also like Pokemon a lot.

I'm a nice guy, even if i can be a bit immature. I'm also very strange, and I'm proud of it.

I like electronic/techno music: drum & bass, trance, hardcore techno, ambient, and many other random things.

It's refreshing to see so much rationality here, after dealing with so many irrational people in my life.

Hello I'm new as well to the forums. My screen name is Trigshot, I'm a fellow intellectual, long time science fiction and science fact enthusiast, gamer, musician (guitar), artist, computer-guru, and overall student of the mind.

I'm very impressed with the relative level of maturity maintained on this forum, especially when compared with the typical "flaming sessions" that spawn from sources such as YouTube or pretty much any other online exchange of freedom of speech.

Well, I'm glad to meet you, and I hope to see some decent debates worthy of partaking in.

I like your signature Trigshot! Although, then I might be one of these people who would end up on the redeiving end. The other day I tried to "fix" my heater at the hostel I'm at. It has a 2 hour timer on it and I wanted to bypass it so that there was no timer - all I succeeded in doing was shorting the fuse and putting myself at risk of electrocution :? So now I have no heater at all but at least I'm alive and found out a bit about the switch circuit involved in the heater :lol:
