I'm not sure what your referencing here, however I'm from New York and used to hang out in Rockefeller plaza after college classes and what Beck said about the paintings and engravings in and around the building is true. It's all there to see and it all quite obvious.

thus said a youtuber in the form of a PM.

Your typical hidden symbolism rubbish, the problem here is interpretation and assuming you know what the artist was trying to say.

You see this happen with art experts talking about how broken strings in paintings mean so much or how a poet must have thought really deeply about the message their poem was trying to spread. In my opinion, its mainly a load of rubbish.

And even if that symbolism was there, who cares? It's not turning people into Commie-Fascists.

Even if everything he says is true, the stigma on communism didn't emerge until well after the construction of the building. The Red Scare at the time of the Bolshevik Revolution was reasonably considered - such a revolt in one area could inspire a revolt elsewhere. However, the first Red Scare was inspired by fear of a revolt - somewhat reasonably, considering.

The Second Red Scare, or the McCarthy Era, is what brought about the Cold War and the stigma on Communism that we see today. Prior to that, there was no cowering fear from communist symbols because they weren't "the enemy."

This is just the return of McCarthyism.

On a hilariously related note, Glenn Beck has apparently started his own "university"

It even has pretentious Latin text that says something along the lines of "Resist Tyrants. Submit to God."

The hilarious irony of the Latin phrase on the crest is enough to shut down my tear glands due to excessive laughter. This is almost as bad as when Andy Schlafly (founder of Conservapedia) tried to assert that imaginary and complex numbers are an example of "liberal bias" in mathematics.
