Geert Wilders "threatened" again, ... by sharia4holland

Geert Wilders has been "threatened" again by Sharia4Holland. BUT I am using quote marks because in the video's they say it is not a threat. As such it is relative and it depends on your point of view, a basical "He said, I said". Imho, yeah not a direct threat, but more a promise.

They themself litterally say in this video:
- "It is not a threat, it is a warning."

They basically say that if he does not change, that Wilders runs the risk a muslim will stand up and do the same thing to him as that which happend to Theo Van Gogh.

In the second video they give Wilders 4 options:
(1) Wilders be a man, and debate with us. (something he has refused so far, with most Muslim organisations). In the discussion they are willing to debate every subject, like 9-11 etcetera.
(2) Wilders should hold his mouth and let the Muslims be, let them live as Muslims themself want too. They have no problem with him living as a pig, he is going to hell anyway.
(3) Wilders is welcome to become a Muslim, then they will have no problem with him.
(4) If he continues like he does, he should be a man, and come out in the open, try to threaten Muslims in the open, and not have police and security around him.

I'll see if I can make a compilation video of these both and put in on my channel with english subtitles, as it is ofcourse spoken in dutch. I'll do that respectfully because I live in the Netherlands and do not want to loose my own head.

The intended peacefullness of this organisation drips from the opening in video 1

If by "his people" you mean his fellow countrymen I'm more than willing to give answer to your, sadly uninformed, assumption.
I am Dutch. I am not that keen on religion. I'm in favour of open discussion about these religions and in our country that often comes down to Christianity as it's the largest religion. I'm more than willing for there to be the same amount of discussion about Islam as well, although I myself am not well-versed enough to answer all their arguments myself.

Geert Wilders is making blanket statements about Muslims (and also their religion, but hey) that are, quite frankly, absurd to anyone who gives a moment's time to ponder them - if they aren't altogether moronic already on face value. I make a clear distinction between attacking and making statements about someone's religion and someone's person. Geert shows not to understand or not to care about this distinction.
What's worse, he's made the common mistake of singling out Muslims and Islam in our country when Christianity is still a dominant force in our "secular" country. One of his party's points was "no more mosque's to be allowed to be built." To which I replied "well... no more churches then either?" But even then I wouldn't subscribe to it.

While he might operate under the guise of "freedom of speech" he clearly just uses this as an excuse to spread the same kind of bigotry that religions themselves spread and with such an insulting and condescending tone towards the personae of Muslims (instead of, slightly more rightly, Islam) that often rivals the "free speech" that religious people go by when they spread bullshit.

So no. I do not back him. I don't want to see him killed, but I care little for him personally and I think his views are bigoted and pulled straight from his ass.

Pim actually knew what he was talking about. His arguments made sense and he was motivated by personal experience (lived in an area regarded as "backwards = integration problems") and had a PhD in Sociology. I totally agree with astralopithecus. Wilders is a cock (and everything else). He's horny for power and doesn't really see or feel the content he's promoting. Though people like sharia4holland help people like Geert to power.

Bottomline is that it's a phenomenon of our time that enormous (previously unseen) flows of migration from all over the world cause adaptation problems to both the newcomers and current inhabitants. Especially when the people migrating to the Netherlands don't have a clue about the (exceptional) development that took place after the start of enlightment. In other words, certain groups of immigrants have trouble to accept or understand the concept of social democracy (and everything that follows from it), because they're thinking in a rural and traditional way.

Religious radicalism is really just a minor issue in integration problems, but Wilders makes it look like this is the sole cause for problems. Integration and religious radicalism are two seperate issues in my opinion. Wilders poisons the debate by lumping the two concepts together.
