Fox News: "Fair and Balanced"

(NOT!)

It's a collage of Fox News bias, of course, I could no where begin to cover it all.

That music was extremely annoying. It also felt like it was specifically designed to stir my emotions, something I don't appreciate when the video maker is promoting a specific view (whether I agree or disagree with that view).

I liked the music, I feel it may be necessary to try to stir emotions about certain things, bias in popular media is a matter serious enough to be one of these things.

I am against emotional manipulation. I also feel it ruins any message in the video because I'm constantly feeling the effects of manipulation, which makes feel bitter towards the whole experience (though I suppose that tends to be a problem unique to me).

I agree and am totally against emotional manipulation but would you agree it is sometimes important to give a message emotional undertones, some people are not easily stirred into action by the facts of a matter alone (only the superbly rational).

Uh, maybe I can agree with that, I just commented on a video and didn't have the words "emotional undertones" (wish I had at the time). However that presents the problem: when is it manipulation, when is it undertones?

Why shouldn't someone use emotional energy to encourage people to maybe take action against something as horrible and anti-American as Fox "News"? Those folks use a lot more than music... compared to the lying from Fox "News", what's a little music?

That's true, but you can compare the video to the emotional manipulation seen in adverts for charities, there's a BIG difference.
