Film on Darwin won't come to US bc its "too controversial"

I think they should have banned the Passion of the Christ, hell that actually depicted jebus getting the holy shit flogged out of him. How was that not "too controversial" for american audiences?

Well... this is just more demonstrable proof that America is so politically correct. :x

If I was given the chance to leave my nation since idiots like Kent Hovind, Ken Ham, and others urinated on my fellow American's ability to rationally think, I would take it.

If I had the money, I would buy the rights to bring it to the US and then distributute it to every school in America and make it free to all who wanted to see it.

Im sure it will be leaked online.

I am too confused though. The idea that every living thing today originated from a single organism over millions and millions of years is taboo but the media talking about Paris Hilton's sex tapes when children are watching is perfectly okay.

I love the fact that I can say I hate this country.

Well I guess seeing Jesus getting his ass ripped open is always better for the children than learning about Darwin.

Because evidence and many decades of well studied research don't mean SQUAT when you asume a guy is evil! Now doesn't it?

Begs the question, why do they think Darwin was so evil, but completely neglect the millions of people god had killed?

Maybe it is boring and not a very good movie, and the producers are hoping to attract some attention by claiming a controversy that doesn't even exist? After all, Paul Bettany isn't exactly a big box office draw, and Jennifer Connelly is about as exciting as boiled white rice.

I didn't think of that. But I saw the previews and it looked pretty good though. Wasn't the guy who played Darwin also in Master and Commander as the doctor?

This could be good news...

If they think Creation is going to be controversial, I have no hopes of Agora ever finding a US distributor.

Aww.. I thought that that was going to be a documentary about agorism.

It's not that it would be "too controversial", it's just that the US has a sort of "truth in advertising" initiative which would make it kind of difficult to market a creationist movie.
