They always think themselves so much smarter than the rest of the world :D
Judges "love" that kind of thing and I hope he gets his ass handed to him gift-wraped with a bow.

I now how that feels (as the innocent side) because we were once wrongly sued for my husband damaging a car (he did damge it, but in self-defense because the idiot driver was driving backwards into our baby-pram).

Just to be clear: A baby pram is a baby stroller?

Some persons ought to consider following the law before claiming that some cops are wrotten. :)
Some people ought to know what they are talking about before claiming that others who are intimately involved in a case don't...

I so agree with you. I really wish you know what you are talking about because you have yet to provide facts. For now, the first post is nothing but opinions. But if you can provide facts, I might be persuaded to change my mind.

I'd really like to be on your side on this one, but until you've got facts to back these claims. I say you made it up. :p

Note:

wrotten : rotten. The former is wrong, therefore I made a mistake with spelling it so. :(

I don't care what you believe. You are not so important that I would put my friends court documents on the internet. Claiming that I don't know what I'm talking about because I won't share someone else's personal information with you is infantile at best.

Ergo, you have no proof. ^^

Anyway, I am not asking that you post your friend's personal information. If you are smart, you could use google to search for situations which happened in real life to support your earlier allegation. But, instead, you chose to call my act of calling your allegation a lie as infantile. If that is being infantile, then I plead guilty.

Stick to the facts. ^^

But this does not answer my question. How is it appropriate? What precisely makes it appropriate? What does it adress?

That police can be deceitful and untrustworthy. Also, there's a story in there about another policeman who lied in order to make his case.

Okay, this answers my question. Thanks.

Yes, that's the same thing, only with an ocean in between ;)
I'm sorry to hear how things went. And I'm, well, not so much surprised, but angered at the fact that those post hoc accusasations were given any credit.
Around here it actually IS a crime not to report a crime, especially if you're a policeman.
