When a forum announces that they view critics of their position to be not only wrong but also agents of Satan, I can't see how there can possibly be a meaningful or useful dialog. Since that's the situation we're talking about, maybe going over their and trying to present facts to them is almost... trolling? Not that you're going to call them a bunch of assholes, but you know exactly the negative response you're going to get from them.

Look at my first example, the guy was ripped and thread closed for not believing exactly as the admin wanted him to... and he was a fellow creationist!

Guys, I think you miss my point. I'm saying that since we know they are going to ban anyone who presents anything remotely like evidence, going over there is like trolling. I'm NOT saying that you have to do anything wrong to get banned, since their standard is based on the premise that evidence=Satan.

We have nothing to gain going over there. They aren't willing to listen and we know they'll ban us. All we'd do is piss them off. Trolling may well be an adequate description of our efforts.

I actually tried to register and see what I could do in there, first I find very weird the kind of information that they require, but after I filled everything it returned an error with the message

So - what should my formula of statements be? This is going to be VERY difficult, since they've basically limited evidence to whatever they want you to say...
I need straight-up evidence. Cold, hard, evidence and citations from the top-dogs of Science.

Ah so I don't I could have sworn I tried to search for something and it said I didn't have permission. I must be thinking of a different forum, or perhaps I just assumed I needed permission to use the search function.

Inferno's dialogue is exactly the kind of rational discussion I was looking for. I haven't read all that much so far but there seems to be a lot of projection and misrepresentation in the four threads I found searching for inferno. I haven't found what he was banned for yet though, there's alot to read I'll delve into it more later when I have the time.

Ok I skimmed through the four threads I could find of yours and I can't actually find where you were banned or what you were banned for.... it seems like you were banned quietly and then the admin Ron continued debating with you about "redefining" definitions(when all you were trying to do is get them to agree to definitions so rational dialogue could happen) without you being able to respond.
Did you receive some kind of a message, a warning or anything? The threads are a mess jumping all over the place from topic to topic it's hard to follow. Again I'll try to read all the way through the threads in more detail later when I have time but perhaps you could save me the trouble and just explain what the heck happened? I really don't feel like having to read through all of the same misunderstandings I've read a thousand times anyways lol

I couldn't find what I was banned for either, I can only assume that it was hate-speech. (The quote provided below.) I'm still partial to the idea that I was banned for providing evidence though. :lol:

That website is very upsetting. It is even more upsetting that I am unable to register. I think they have a quota on how many atheists/agnostics can register. I know I would be banned after just a few posts, but to get some real information in there might be helpful.

I actually have an active account there. I registered and posted a few times after the dissolution of RDF in order to advertise, and forgot about it until this thread. My login still works.

Ya your right I'm not even going to bother, I wish I could post there though however even if I tried to make another account and put agnostic It seems from my searching that as soon as anyone who is labeled atheist or agnostic starts making some headway they are inexplicably banned. :|

I am not very good at internet debating anyways though I would love to see someone like AronRa do a formal debate on the forum I actually wonder if we could set that up? I would love following the debate to see if they ban him :lol: and in the formal debate section it would stay up as a matter of public record to hopefully educate some onlookers. Hell even if they were to delete such a hypothetical debate it could be copy pasted or screencaped here as evidence of the forums dishonesty.
