How do you know that the evidence for a “round earth” Is not a delusion? After all our brains are just a consequence of random mutations and natural selection, it could be that “belief in a round earth “ had some selective advantage and therefore any combination of neurons that produces that belief would be selected (regardless if the belief is correct or not. )
Even if our brains were designed, how do you know they weren't designed to believe in something false? That there is an evil God that created our brains to always come to the wrong conclusion and our senses to always tell lies?

You either believe as a foundational premise that your senses tell you useful or approximate truthes about a world around you, or you give up and stop living your life entirely.

I don't see another way though I'm open to hearing a case for another way, but it has to be good and not based on just replacing one foundational epistemological premise that can't be proved, with another.

How would you be living your life if you disbelieved literally everything you see, everything you hear, everything you can touch, smell and taste? The keyboard you are writing on doesn't exist, the light from the monitor you see isn't really there etc. etc. Even worse, what if you distrusted your ability to reason? Suppose you managed to convince yourself that you were unable to even reason correctly? How could you then trust in your newfound conviction that you were unable to reason correctly? Does it not take the ability to reason to spot errors in reasoning?

Now what? What do you do? Close the eyes you don't even have and stop breathing with your illusory lungs? Stop completely having any thoughts? Do not think a single conscious or even subconscious thought? Do not make any decisions? Cease all mental and physical activity?

Try it for as long as you can, try to live consistently as if everything is a lie or falsehood. Step intro traffic in blind faith that trucks and buses don't really exist and that the road they drive on is an elaborate hoax. Or in the belief that an oncoming train that you are pretty sure is going to hit you, probably won't because after all you've decided you can't trust your own ability to reason correctly so why believe you have correctly reasoned that the train will hit you?

No my friend, we are all in this thing together, we all have to begin with these two assumptions (the alternative seems to be suicide):
1. We can usually reason correctly even though we might some times make mistaken.
2. Our senses usually give us useful information about an external reality, even though they can some times be fooled or make errors.

The reason 2 is number 2, is that it requires the ability to reason to be able to make sense of the information your senses give you.

Some presuppositional theists will argue that we can trust our ability to reason and our senses because a benevolent God has created them so. But that's just another faith position that must logically come after the foundation that we are capable of reason, because it takes reasoning to be able to posit that a benevolent God has created brains capable of reasoning. Either way, reason has to come first.

And since the position is merely a blind assertion, anyone can assert the opposite: That an evil God has created our brains to only believe false things and for out senses to always tell lies.

Even if anyone were to accept what you just said, in the end all it would mean is that meaningful conversation, observation, exploration, etc. are impossible, as these 'delusions' could be said to apply to anything and everything. For all we know, there was some sort of advantage to being deluded into thinking that you're a person with recognizable facial features. For all we know, there was some sort of advantage to being deluded into thinking that other people exist and can be interacted with. For all we know, there was some sort of advantage to being deluded into thinking that there are times when we sit down on a toilet and defecate.

It's impossible to have a meaningful conversation after taking something like this into consideration.
Exactly. Even a presuppositionalist would not be able to show that their "internal revelations" from God are true, as they could be coming from an evil God that takes please in misleading it's subordinates.

The contents of these internal revelations could be lies send by an omnipotent, omniscient, and lying creator that takes pleasure in making it's subjects believe falsely that they are receiving "truth" from a benevolent being.
