And the real issue starts when people are duped by this non-sense. Some will take it to mean that they have to do anything in their 'power' to get others to follow the same pseudo-logic. Thereby making life hellish for other individuals or groups of people until they get their way. Welcome to organized religion......

I agree. It is asinine to adopt repugnant behaviour for a "special cause" because it allows a person to then assign "special cause" status to nearly anything. Wrong is wrong, even when it benefits me.

And for that I apologise once again. I shouldn't have said anything about my mental state until I had a psychiatrist or psychologist confirm things one way or the other.

I am often impulsive, and do and/or say things before thinking them through.
