Huh, I had never heard about this game before...
must be living under a rock. It's all over the place.

I weep because my laptop doesn't have a video card that supports programmable shaders and the game runs like ASS under cedega.

35 hours into the game and I've still only explored 60% of the world and still got loads of quests to do. Loving it! Shame it's a bit buggy in places and there are some annoying PS3 framerate issues, but it doesn't make it unplayable :)

I actually managed to complete it last night... actually no, that's a lie. At around 1am this morning! Lol But it is indeed a very good game. Definitely got sucked into it like I did with Mass Effect! I managed to rack up 50 hours of gameplay and I've now just started a new character to earn some more of the achievements which should keep me busy till Mass Effect 2 comes out. :)

My only criticisms of the game is the amount of dialog and texts. Yes, I know RPG's always have an indepth story, but there was just so much in it! In the end I skipped most of the dialogs and never bothered reading the codex's. I just found it too tedious after a while. Also on the 360 the gameplay is a little awkward at times, but it still plays well though.

I was playing it over my break, but lost interest because the combat system wasn't very enjoyable. I made my main character a ranged rogue because that's what I wanted to play. Instead, I end up spending almost all my time letting him auto attack while I micro-manage the other three because they all require so much more attention. The combat just is just too much like an MMO for one person to play, in my opinion. Still a good game, though, as the rest of the game is great.

I started my rogue off as ranged, but as you found, it wasn't very interesting so I soon switched to using dual weapons, much more interesting, especially giving the enemy a swift kick in the goolies :)

I may have to try that, although I'd probably have to restart since I'm already somewhere over level 10 and everything's in archery. :( That's not too bad, though, since the story line is pretty cool.
