How does one go about getting an invite?
The server is done because we use the Phylogeny Explorer Project i will put the server url here asap.
The link is https://discord.gg/vReWSf if you let me know your username by PM i can give you moderation status.

Yeah I can do that, have airlock/entryway in place on some other servers, probably a good idea for LoR server too - good thinking.

For anyone unfamiliar, you do not have to download the Discord app, it can be used in a web browser although I highly recommend the app. It's free, having an account is free, there are no costs involved. Once you have an account, open discord in either the app or a browser, click the above link and it should magically transport you into the server automatically. If it doesn't, click the + icon on the left in Discord, select "join a server" and just copy the above link into the box. You can either copy the entire link or just the last bit AvTDeBfaEP - either will work.
When you join, irrespective of your status here on the forum you will be a non-verified member and will only be able to post to the Approval Queue channel in "VERIFICATION"
Follow the guidance in that channel to get verified and open up the rest of the server. This is not always an instant process since it requires a moderator to approve you, and there will be times when no moderator is available. Hang tight, someone will get to it as soon as they can.
Speaking of which.... any volunteers for moderator on the server?
After a day or two for the members here (of those who will join the server, not everyone will) we will activate the server on the various public server repositories available, the server is already present on these but basically set to invisible. When we make it visible anyone visiting those repositories will be able to find it and join, so there will be unfamiliar faces as well as familiar ones. I will post again when the server is visibly listed on such websites.
