Difference between minerals and rock.

A mineral is a naturally formed substance which is firm and solid. It is also stable the room temperature by using chemical formula.
Rocks are a cumulative of minerals or non-minerals, and do not have a particularly chemical composition. 3 major groups of rocks are igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic.
