I've been a long-time fan of the anime Initial D. I haven't touched the manga, can't imagine drifting getting translated to paper all that well, but that's besides the point.

I've done my own Panda Trueno in Forza Motorsport 4, complete with vinyls, tuning, the whole schebang. All as close to the AE86 in Initial D as possible within the game(online I found the specs for the Trueno in third season and based my tuning around those)

Ever since I found out a way to export the videos I started practicing the old-school style of drifting in Forza. Fast speeds and no more flashy than necessary to clear the corners.

I started with these two.

They're more of a proof of concept really, but have their moments. Then I figured I'd try to make one with opponents on the road.
A Third video was made.

At this point I took a month off making clips and just drove the mountain roads until I felt I've gotten the gist of it and recorded the last two.

First off, there's this one with opponents.

And I did one without, from all the driving I've done at this track.

But as these five videos show about every corner this track has, there's hardly any point in making more of them. Maybe over a longer period I could scrape together another clip with racing-scenarios. Or start to replicate the battles from the actual series with friends.
