I just wanted to say that todays show (June 20, 2010) was a huge improvement over the first. I was impressed by the smooth transitions between speakers and your ability to minimize over-talk. It was much more organized than the first show and I think you deserve credit for tying up the loose ends so effectively.

We all still feel there are many refinements to be made however. I am considering cutting down the number of 'callers' and spending more '1-on-1' time with each in more of a discussion format.

Yes, both shows were great and the improvements were apparent with the second show. It was a pleasure to listen to and follow along with, and hats off to dpr for a fine job as moderator.

No problem and nothing is ever complete so don't worry about it... Considering you produced a rather solid show in just 5 weeks time, I'd say you're well on your way to a clockwork production.

I'm inclined to agree with a reduction in callers and a more specific topic-led format. I don't think you mentioned to fast-track of creationist callers this episode, though, and I think this should be somewhat more explicit.

I wanted to add another thanks here for the 20/7 show. Being given some mic time for a question was no small feat and I'm glad that i could be a part of it. I felt like i stole a big chunk of time out of the 2hr show because each of the co-hosts had really in-depth info for, what was, a non-scientific question. Many many thanks to each of you and i really recommend getting into it for any of the viewers. It's like having your brain fondled xD .
