Christians fail at Satire

I'll be honest I haven't seen many Christians with the wit able to try satire but I did come across this nugget.

http://www.wegame.com/watch/The_Invisible_Pink_Unicorn/

I'm a nerd who used to play WoW (we have a falling out) so I tend to enjoy machinima (I don't feel like spell checking that word right now)

Considering how dumb this video is you might have a hard time telling that he's trying to make fun of atheists and us gosh darned evolutionists.

I would love if some folks could link other failed attempts at satire. I think I remember PCS attempting it in a few of his videos but there has to be more out there.

The problem with Christians is that a lot of them not all, have been spoon fed "their" religion so they only know what they've been told. I know a lot of Christians that are so ignorant I can easily beat them at arguments using their own religion as my evidence.

Don't make fun of Christians, didn't you used to have an imaginary friend?

P.S. WoW consumes lives, it almost took mine too.

Here is another attempt at I think maybe satire. This time from Ben Stein.

Have you noticed the trend of right-wing Christian "humor" often being based in violence, murder, and inaccurate insult? There's something wrong with their brains, where everything out of them seems to be tinged with anger and hate towards people who disagree with them... not for their actions or viewpoints specifically, but for a weird, nebulous " you aren't one of us, so you are evil" sort of thing.

I love how at the end PIU actually shows up, proving that PIU lied about himself when he told Charlie that he's Invisible. He should really be called the Pink But Invisible When He Wants To Be Unicorn.

The comments on that video were pretty funny too.

The first impaling was hilarious by its surprise - then it got old. As a point, it's pretty lame; the unicorn's being pretty damned obvious, and the "Guild of Self-important Engineers" are being oblivious to irrefutable evidence for the existence of something with (at the very least) an invisible stabby thing connected to a flat object with an obviously horse-shaped articulation mechanism.

God has yet to be so blunt (or, for that matter, stabbity). You don't see people up and dying at random shortly after having voiced honest doubt.

Then, the supposed xenogenesis proposition is a terrible analog for the differences between creative theistic and naturalistic explanations for origin. Such a straw man is insulting to the viewer - especially in that no one has ever seriously postulated xenogenesis as a satisfactory explanation for life's origin.

Idiot must have watched "Expelled" too many times.

If there's one thing i hate, its Faux News.

Fox News' reports rarely have applause and laughter in the background. This was a skit.

Well, I was going to link to a video by FrankReturns, where he makes his own "Edward Current" type of satire video.

Turns out his account is closed now, so you'll all have to live without that gem, that epitome of humor.

Actually, it's excruciatingly sad to see someone miss the mark so massively; to see someone hace such a lacking grasp of humor.

This all ties in with a theory (not the scientific kind, although it could perhaps in time be qualified scientifically) I've been brewing on for a while that postulates that fundanemtalists are literally lacking a function in their brain that enables people to otherwise process "higher level" humoristic concepts - such as satire.

Ah well...

Good grief. These satires are damn lame. We must revoke all satire privileges from these fools. They're just misusing it.
