Chemical Lobotomies and Shopping Sales...

I stumbled upon this today, and I thought it would be a good way to liven up the conspiracy forum again...

My view, its just mob mentality. I doubt that shopping sales would trigger our survival instincts really - even if we had been 'chemically lobotomised'

New Orleans.

This video insults my intellect, since he offers no scientific evidence to back up his claims about any one of these chemicals, nor any data to verify their uses, origins or the degree to which they are saturated into the North American markets.

That said, we see the same mentality in every society pressured for supplies, whether or not they are needed or wanted. Every society, regardless of the kinds of foods they eat has met this same mob mentality.

You get a large number of people afraid and they will act out in unison to stem the fear. That isn't because of the food we feed them. That isn't because their higher brain functions are suppressed. That is because they are afraid. No amount of higher brain function will protect us from fear and illogic.

Once fear takes hold, the more intelligent you are the more dangerous you are. Not only are you afraid, but you are able to impress that fear in others using your influence.

I believe schools should teach children about farming, tilling soil, planting and feeding animals. The relationship between man and nature is important and while I was honored by an education in this aspect of life, growing up around farms, I worry sometimes that the education necessary to survive in those environments will be lost to an entire generation that has never had to hunt.

If industry ever truly fails, we will survive. We will teach our children how to hunt and those educated will survive by teaching a generation about living off of the earth.

But I agree. This behavior is not instinctive. These people are not driven by fear alone. They are driven by greed and lust and hatred inspired by the mob mentality. This can easily be stemmed by handing out tickets before a sale and announcing before hand only those with tickets may apply.

These stores are responsible for helping to cause this chaos. They are badly managed and could be held liable for inciting this sort of behavior.

Hunting and hand agriculture? That's... not nearly enough to support our current population density. Teaching it in schools would be pointless as only a fraction of people would be able to live long enough to actually use that information.

People don't behave the way we want them to... and there's really not a conspiracy behind it. There's certainly not any active conspiracy to poison people. That videos is so chock full of stupid that it could spawn a dozen threads...

The government is turning everyone into evil zombies who will have no qualms about killing and eating your family  ... Honestly I think the only people who lack their pre-frontal cortex are the people dumb enough to blindly accept everything in this video.

Yeah... my head almost exploded over the "mercury in dental fillings" nonsense.

But the video of the smoking tooth proved that surely?
