Ruled unconstitutional on 14th amendment basis. I would have figured that an establishment clause basis would never have been fully accepted by any of the right. It's one of those lovely little reminders that things have to go all the way to the bottom of the rabbit hole in order to protect people's rights and not people's interests.

Didn't you hear? The Republicans want to repeal the 14th Amendment. They are calling for hearings right now, as a matter of fact. No real surprise, is it?

I'm glad that it was overturned, and I hope it survives the inevitable appeals.
