Since the website transfer some stuff got broken:
1. Can't embend images
2. Some quotation marks appear as '

Thanks for this. I has also been noted that the chat tab is incorrectly displaying zero people and the RSS feed for the blog is catching forum posts.

If you notice any other problems please post them here. There is some work going on in the background on migration issues.

I don't think it is a good idea to make a temp code. Because as the word says it is temporary. So if I use it now, later when the issue is fixed and this temporary fix is removed, all the posts that are made now will be broken then.

I think that the edit button was removed on specific threads to prevent Joseph from retroactively edit his posts.

I've seen this code an awful lot on some of my earlier posts in this forum so now i cannot quote myself to the extent i wish should i ever need to do so, guess my reliance on quotations if this is the problem really hasn't helped me

AFAIK there's no way to resolve the code error in the posts other than editing them.

Update for the [ img ] tag, I'm determining which solution is best, don't want to fuck stuff up. My middle name is "fuckest-uppest". The [ image ] code will remain for posterity as it doesn't interfere with anything else. The button in the reply screen won't, however.

Edit: TYH, the only thing I can't change by the application of the above is the German in this post. Mainly because I don't speak German so don't know what to replace. Of course, I'll gladly do it if you can send me an unadulterated version of those paragraphs

Ah yes, i guess one does have to bring me back to one of the first things i did back in the days when i wasn't a blogger. I'll gladly edit the German myself although i will say that in retrospect i would consider that the whole thread looks a little untidy and unpolished compared to some of my blogposts on this site. At any rate i could update the whole thing with new information seeing as some of the citations i used there have disappeared off the internet but it seems like such a folly to revive such an ancient thread. So what to do about polishing it up eh? I could Republish the critique on the blog (with said modifications) but then i think it be best for you to highlight that it has been published. At any rate i'm never sure about how many of us have read that old thread of mine

And the broken posts with strange symbols can be fixed by a snooping program, just snoop the broken characters and replace with the appropriate ones.
