On the 26th of July, "anti-christian" passages had to be removed from class books in bavaria. The worst think is that most of those passages weren,´t even anti-christian but anti-fundamentalism. For example the line:
I feel a little like in northkorea now, only that our dictator is imaginary.
They appointed to article 131 (2) of Bavaria's constitution which says (and I am not kidding): the highest educational goal is reverence towards god and respect for religious faith.... Those points are actually higher then thinks like respect for human dignity and respect for the environment. And just in case someone thinks they forget to remove this line after the dark ages - they didn,´t - it was added in 1996.....Atheist and newsman Susan Jacoby says there is an undeniable direct link between religious fundamentalism and a lack of education....
I feel a little like in northkorea now, only that our dictator is imaginary.
