What I find the funniest is that Atheists are actually even included. A glorious day it will be when Atheism is no longer on that list. It's almost like a preference test for fruits that reads:

How much do you hate/like each of the following item? Rank from -10 to 10.

A) Apple -- 4
B) Banana -- 5
C) Cantalope -- 0
D) Durian -- -10
E) None of the above -- ... what?

We don't have Muslims beat yet? Sheeesh. It's worse than I thought.

It's an uphill fight, and we always come off as hostile to every other religion. They see us as the ones trying to destroy all they hold sacred.

We're doing MUCH better than I thought.

True,
Almost all religions have similar roots and similar teachings and don't cause much friction. Muslims are disliked due to terrorism, scientologists stand out too much and threaten classical beleif systems, but all religeons are against atheism.

amazing... people hate something that does not harm them directly or intended by it.
its like fear of the unknown, i don't understand it or know what it is so i should avoid it, even though there is knowledge about that thing.

As the great H.P. Lovecraft once said, "The oldest and greatest emotion of man is fear, and the oldest and greatest fear is the fear of the unknown." People hate what they don't understand. That's why religion was started in the first place: to explain the unknown. Even to this day, the religious are still cowering under that fear, so it's perfectly reasonable of them to hate us atheists for they don't understand us.
