Assassin's Creed II

Beeeeeautiful, just beautiful....

I found the plot and gameplay in part 1 rather boring. It was just the repetitive killing of people in different cities, but the climbing and the silent killing still kicked ass. Awesome, really looking forward to this.

Can't wait. I did find the variety of missions lacking in the first one, but I still had a freaking blast running, climbing, and jumping around the cities.

This will be cool, but I'm kinda more looking forward to Mass Effect 2.

Bah, Mass Effect was a huge disappointment to me. While the story is nice, and while it has a nice dialog system, the gameplay was incredibly boring and linear. The side quests were totally lame, with all the planets and mines looking exactly the same (apart from the ground texture) and the targets being totally unimaginative. The main storyline was okay, but the bit I hated the most was that when I had finished the game, it just was over. I expected to be able to go back and play on, do some stuff at the citadel or whatever, fly around the galaxy exploring it, instead of just being done with the game. Totally lame. I hope they don't screw up the second part as well.

Hmm. I enjoyed Mass Effect, but not as much as I could have. I liked the combat system, the visual design, and the well-developed back story, but the bland, cookie-cutter planets and the character RPG elements were disappointing. Still, though, I expect I'll be getting, and enjoying, the sequel.

Fuck yes, I loved the first game, even though the story wasn't that popular, I still loved the fucker. I thaught it eas going to be set in the present though. I had a whole theory and everything.

It seems like this one will be very much superior to the first. I cannot wait... Mass Effect 2 looks like a crock of shit.

Other games which look very promising: Left 4 Dead 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 look promising.

I hope they drop the metagame in Assassin's Creed 2, and I hope Mass Effect 2 will keep Tali on board (and allow for boarding her wink wink nudge nudge).

I'm not really feeling it for either Left 4 Dead 2 or the new Splinter Cell, though.

Really looking forward to both Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2. I really enjoyed both games and from the look of AC2 at least, they're going to be a big improvement.

Wafflez now wishes he had a 360 or a ps3 because he loved the first AC. it made him feel like a ninja.

I put a pre-order on the game Dantes Inferno.

Yes. An action-adventure game for the Xbox 360 based on the works of Dante.

Fuck. Yeah.

Dante's Inferno looks extremely unimpressive and uninspired.

Why is the story of Assassin's Creed not popular? I thought it was brilliant. I mean it could've just been a game about an assassin in the 1100s (or whatever era it was) with some "bad guy", but the developers went beyond that and put more effort into it and made it more unique.

Even though having ancestors' memories stored in your genes is fucking stupid, the rest of the plot was pretty damn awesome IMO.

Some people didn't enjoy the unskipable dialogue cut-scenes but I liked to sit back after a hard day's killing and watch a storyline unfold. I tryed to explain this to my friend but he's a thick skulled retard who doesn't know his arse from his elbow when it comes to plots.

A lot of gamers are like that... fortunately.
