I don't know how many times I have tried to prove evolution to creationists over the last decade or so, nor how many venues I have used for that purpose. In this one forum alone, I tried it with swaggaboy_dna, Justice Frangipane, reasonablechristian, Gilbertus, TrueEmpiricism, Kanbei, OnceForgivenNowFree and someone from Craig's List. As you can see, they all followed the same pattern of dishonestly ducking-and-dodging every point or query necessary to prove the case. Because what they would rather pretend is more important to them than whatever is really true. So here's the next contender who will probably do the same, some unknown internet nobody named Eric "Wolfbitn" Jewell.



This video was posted to my Facebook time line -along with the usual childish taunting, of which I will only include the following.

All this sensationalism, music and drama, just to ask whether I have the guts to educate someone who doesn't want to understand anything.

YOU have avoided me for over a year Aron Ra.. I'm afraid you're not capable of educating me.. but i would like a one on one debate to allow YOU to prove yourself a parrot and that evolution is a complete fraud and that your take on creation is flawed and that mine is by far the superior theory

To the best of my memory, I've never heard of you, Mr Jewell. And judging by your pitiful subscriber count, there's no reason I should have. Your last video has only 58 views? Really? Your featured video uploaded three weeks ago only has 69 views? Who do you think you are? Yet another upstart wanna-be trying to pull himself up by someone else's bootstraps, calling out anyone more important than you are.

Going on your channel would look good on your CV but would do nothing for mine. But even if we did this on my channel, you wouldn't draw any revenue -or interest..You're just trolling me.

To prove that, I'll do this much. I'll agree to a written discussion posted in public archives for posterity -where other knowledgeable people will follow the conversation with interest. If you're sincere, that'll be good enough for both our purposes. You show a worthy effort there, and I'll agree to talk live. But if you're just trolling me, then you'll have to come up with some weak excuse to get out of that. You'll probably resort to playground level tactics like calling me a chicken -again. But at least I won't be in another shouting match with unknown internet nobody who doesn't care about the facts and just wants the drama. .

Join me in this thread, or not: doesn't matter to me.

I predict more excuses. But if he does show up here, I predict that he'll fail the bar the way every other contestant has so far.

Great, after a disappointing election result we get this fruit cake.

Why didn't he just said I challenge these to a debate ....
and the debate is about evolution or god did it. The video was unnecessarily long and poorly edited with pictures (one of them being a misconception of evolution, the linear ape to man poster).

Already the first FFOC right of the bat. The evolution or God false dichotomy, completely ignoring that most theists (at least in first world countries) still accept that evolution is a real phenomenon.

He should have challenged a debate that was ONLY about evolution (demonstrate that evolution is a thing) or ONLY about creationism (demonstrate that creationism is wrong)

Erecting a false dichotomy and address two prongs of a dilemma makes for a very bad debate setup. And also who is moderating this debate? I think he just wanted to have a one on one without a moderator, in other words, not a debate at all. And the "come at me punks" attitude really shows he has no intention to do this maturely, sincerely nor honestly. So good luck Aron!

That "public archives for posterity -where other knowledgeable people will follow the conversation with interest" bites both ways. As it should.

Not that Aron actually discussed anything with him that time, it was the rest of us (well, rest of you). Hopefully he can get back in with a better attitude and we'll have an actual discussion about.... evolution I guess?

P.S. He last suggested the topic of your debate to be "is evolution just your imagination?" I wonder if English isn't his first language or if he just didn't understand why that is a badly worded topic for a debate.

Haven't we seen this guy before? Maybe it was just here in the forums and Aaron didn't see it. Perhaps I am dreaming. They all start to sound the same after a while.
