Another Brit retired in the USA….

Greetings League of Reason bloggers. I found this website via AndromedasWake video on the Tube, while messing around with the iPhone.

I have been living in the US with my American wife (a physicist ( Specializing in Quantum Mechanics)), for almost three years now.
My assessment of America and Americans who have never left the borders of the US is still positive. But I fail to see how anything gets done when there is so much nepotism, parochialism and racism (all sides), propagated by the bias media.

That said, I have come to love this country (mostly the wide open spaces where we can hunt, fish and look up at the night sky).

So far I have enjoyed reading the many articulate blogs on this site.
I do hope however that the intelligence within these pages is tempered with humility & patience for others. I say this because I can not abide those who ridicule others less articulate than themselves. As long as I can discern a valid point of view, I care not for a persons spelling or grammar.
I have joined and left many so called enlightened websites, so I sincerely hope this one is more tolerant.

I have seen much of this world of ours, its beauty and its horrors, and I am humbled to have lived with so many cultures, with only three continents left for my feet to touch!
